New firing mechanic test


The current prototype relied on the player's finger or mouse to give the striker some velocity, but when trying to stick to the game rules, it does not leave that much space for the movement. So I'm trying out a different firing mechanic.

This will be a two step process unfortunately because the player needs to decide where to place the striker within the semicircle, then decide the direction, and then somehow give it velocity.

For pc this might not be a big deal, but could change the feel on mobile. So I will test by letting the user place their striker, then have an arrow controlled by the mouse or finger, and have a varying strength indicator within the arrow, so when timed right, the player can lift the finger and it will then head in the arrow direction with the velocity that was shown at that moment in the strength meter.
